Job description

Betsson Group marketing continues to grow at unprecedented rates on the back of its successful multi-brand strategy. We are now looking to hire a Senior Media Strategist who will report directly into the Head of Brand Media & Sponsorship.

This person will love working with research and insights to formulate multiple media and channel strategies across many global markets. Its also essential that this person can demonstrate great influencing skills to ensure the strategies developed are utilized and measured accordingly. This person will also be required to define the group level KPIs by which to track and report on our global media activity on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and use this analysis to temperature check the set strategies to make ongoing recommendations.

The key stakeholders to this role will be a combination of internal teams (Head of Biddable, Head of SEO, Head of Affiliates, Head of Creative Design, Head of PR/SOME, Head of Marketing Effectiveness), external agencies, Head of Country and regional marketing managers.


• Work closely with our dedicated ATL media analyst and research/insights team to define the data required to effectively produce a robust media and channel annual strategy
• Align and get buy in from key agency contacts, regional marketing teams and internal stakeholders to formulate annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly media plans aligned to the group annual strategy that has been set and agreed. This will involve advising on creative strategies in order for the media to be most effective
• Define and deliver a reporting framework to provide directors and c-suite a group level overview of our media performance versus the set strategy.
• Be the “glue” between regional marketing teams, agencys and our internal digital media buying team to ensure media is working to its most optimal levels

Essential Skills

- Minimum 5 years in client or agency side role planning or advising on marketing spends greater than €20m across a wider media mix
- Must have solid and in-depth working knowledge of the Nordics market. Experience of the UK, Italy, Spain, or Germany is a plus.
- Loves working with people
This role has no direct reports.

This role is group based role that bridges all media channels, all brands, all markets across the Betsson group portfolio.
