Marketing Attribution Analyst

Job description

As Betsson Group continues to grow through its multi-branded strategy we are now looking to hire a Marketing Attribution Analyst who will form part of the Marketing Analytics team. The selected candidate will be counted to derive insights and provide recommendations to the Marketing team.

This position requires an individual who has both a strategic and tactical viewpoint, aided by intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, along with an understanding of both online and offline media.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ownership of the advanced marketing analytics being carried out across the entire group.
  • Assisting both the internal media planning team and external agency in measuring the success of media activity and how they can implement insights and recommendations to improve future performance.
  • Ad-hoc analytics to help assist with a wide range of business questions, not necessarily limited to media performance alone.
  • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for future campaigns
  • Create easy-to-understand presentations and data visualizations for all levels of the organisation.
  • Staying abreast of new developments in marketing analytics and providing suggestions to apply new opportunities to the business.

Requirements

  • The skill of asking ‘why’ of the numbers are what they are, and the ‘what does this mean?’ is the most highly valued aspect of this role, so that we can deliver actionable insights to drive performance across the group.

    • At least 3+ years previous experience working on advanced analytics projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Physics/Maths/Statistics or another Quantitative Field.
    • Previous experience building and providing insight from Market Mix Modelling and Multi Touch Attribution.
    • Solid understanding of how all marketing channels interact and work.
    • Analytical creativity; the ability to to see a path where it may not be immediately clear to others.
    • Capacity to work well with others and maintaining a positive attitude.
    • Capability to present complex information in simple terms with clear recommendations based on data insight.

 We see it as positive if you also have

  • 2+ years of experience within a media agency.
  • Interest in online gambling.
  • Proficiency in full range of Google Suite products.
  • Experience using SQL.
  • Understanding of BI tools such as QlikView, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Basic knowledge of R, Python, or Jupyter.
