Our Malta office is the operational headquarters of the Betsson Group. 40 nationalities make up the 900 talented people that work across central functions such as HR, Legal and Finance and from Customer Service to Odds Compiling and Digital Marketing to Technology. The operational management team is also based in Malta. Our Betsson Experience Centre is a cool eight-storey building in the upmarket area of Ta ‘Xbiex, overlooking the beautiful Marina.
What we offer
Our benefits and time-off policies are above and beyond the local market norm. Private health insurance, temporary total disability insurance, life insurance, a fitness allowance and sports initiatives are all part of our rewards, as are competitive salaries and a number of social events throughout the year. We want our people to develop at Betsson, and stay here in Malta, so our training and development and career opportunities are also exceptional.
We want our people to want to work here. That’s why we’ve tried to make our offices a really pleasant place to work in.
Free parking across the road and a bus stop make your journey to and from work nice and easy. We also want you to be refreshed whilst you’re here. We have kitchens on each floor with all mod-cons, fresh filtered coffee and tea-making facilities, free fresh fruit and vending machines. On top of that we have an on-site café with all types of coffee, smoothies, croissants, salads, wraps and sandwiches. There’s also a great variety of restaurants, cafés and snack-bars within walking distance.
The eighth floor is a place you can go for a bit of time out. Two sunny balconies, eating areas, Playstation consoles, a pool table, foosball tables and ping pong are here to balance your day. You can also enjoy dinner on Tuesdays and breakfast on Wednesdays on us and why not join us on Fridays after work for complimentary drinks. This is our way of saying thank you.
Malta, jewel of the Mediterranean
Malta enjoys more hours of sunshine than any other European country, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy the rock and sandy beaches, seawater swimming pools and top scuba-diving spots. Low in crime rate, we also benefit from a low rate of income tax, relatively low cost of living and a very good health system. And, of course, English is one of the two official languages.
It’s an island that has a wealth of history and culture to explore and Valetta itself is UNESCO World Heritage site. Yet Malta also combines the old with the new, so you’ll be able to enjoy a vibrant nightlife, rich local cuisine, plenty of gyms and 5-a-side pitches. Our turquoise waters, including the famous Blue Lagoon, and beautiful medieval cities have meant we’ve hosted many film locations shoots on the island including Popeye, Gladiator, World War Z and Game of Thrones.
