"Pursuit of happiness, that’s how I describe myself."

 

I joined Betsson in March 2015, first as an Android Developer, then a Scrum Master for Android and most recently as Service Delivery Manager for the B2B aspect of our business. This has brought about a total shift in my way of thinking: previously my goal was to solve complex technical problems. Now the complexity is in helping people understand the broader picture.  In my day-to-day work this means bridging any gaps between the business side and the technical side. This involves building trust, being transparent and speaking the language of both tech and business people. 

We want solutions which are technically viable but they also need to add value to the business, meet the demands of our customers and thrill them.

Before joining Betsson, I worked for start-up companies with lots of opportunity and high risk.  I create opportunities that take me out of my comfort zone. I love the excitement of being stretched and challenged. Perhaps this is why I enjoy extreme sports like bungee jumping and skydiving. I am all about the pursuit of happiness and for me getting out of your comfort zone and pursuing happiness are inextricably linked.  

 The work/life balance is important for me. I love to spend time with friends and family. I enjoy cooking for them, talking, watching sports, movies and playing Fifa. Oh and did I mention I became a dad for the first time this year?  Talk about happiness and getting out of your comfort zone!
