The role of the Sportsbook Customer Risk Analyst is to ensure the optimization of the sportsbook customer base for maximum profitability, thereby stimulating business growth. This is accomplished through the timely and efficient segmentation of sportsbook customers.
What you’ll be doing
Identify anomalies and emerging trends in customer activity, and report them to the appropriate team.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of Sportsbook reports, with a particular emphasis on customer behaviors.

Commercial & Marketing
The Commercial department is responsible for driving commercial value to the group and is responsible for the acquisition of new high-value players, customer activity, revenue generation and profit and loss management of our brands. It also works with competitor insight, our brands’ public relations and social media strategies.
Legal & Compliance
The Legal & Compliance Division provides opportunities to work across regulatory compliance, claims, contracts, intellectual property, and data privacy. It’s a dynamic environment where you can grow your expertise while supporting Betsson Group’s operations worldwide.
HR & Office
The Human Resources department is responsible for our Betssonites. HR supports people managers and employees, handle HR systems and act as ambassadors of Betsson’s culture and values.
Payment, Fraud & Risk
Payment Operations oversee all customer transactions, ensuring they are secure and legitimate. The team also manages payment solutions, provider contracts, and anti–money laundering efforts to protect both the company and our customers.
Information Security
The Information Security team is responsible for constructing, enforcing and maintaining information security policies and procedures, in line with industry best practices, across Betsson Group and its respective brands. Our department is focused on two main areas: Information Security Governance and Operations Security.
Sportsbook
The Sportsbook Trading team provide odds on over 200,000 events per year. From Champions League Football to Trotting. From NBA playoffs to TV specials. The team consists of passionate, dedicated sports fans who work closely with commercial, tech and product to ensure our customers have the best experience possible.
Finance
The Financial reporting and Controlling organisation are in charge of building up all financial numbers used for various financial reports, which are also used externally. In doing this, they work a lot with reconciliations when it comes to movement in client funds as well as revenues.

We aim to look at your CV as soon as possible and inform you within two weeks whether or not you have been successful in getting to the next stage. If you have not heard from us in 3 weeks, you are welcome to email us so we can follow up.

Interview
Our interview process can vary from role to role but will probably look a bit like this:
- Intro call with a recruiter: an informal chat about your motivations and a chance to ask questions.
- Interview with the hiring manager: a more structured discussion about your skills and fit for the role.
- Task or test (for some roles, e.g., Tech): followed by a review with the team or manager.
- Final interview with HR (and possibly other stakeholders): a competency-based interview aligned with our company values.

As part of the process we will also take some references. Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to inform your current employer at this stage, but we would like to speak to two of your former managers and your Recruiter will ask you for their contact details. Please ask them when would be a good time to talk since we know they are very busy.
For certain people in the organisation who have access to customer data or strategic knowledge, we carry out an enhanced background check.

Success!
At the end of the process, Recruiter will give you a call to give you some feedback after the process, and hopefully to make you a job offer. You will receive your contract via email. Finally, as part of our licence with the Malta Gaming Authority, we would like to let you know that all new employees of Betsson Group must provide us with a police conduct report prior to starting employment. We will advise you about this during the recruitment process.

On-boarding process is a way to enable employees to deeply understand and align with the organisation’s culture and strategy. We aim to make sure that the process is fun, engaging and holistic. New starters will take part in a three-day induction training which covers a variety of topics, from the company strategy to our products, where new starters also get to explore and test them.
