Betsson Group supports the Sustainable Gambling Zone at ICE Barcelona 2025

Betsson Group is proud to support the Sustainable Gambling Zone at this year’s much awaited ICE Barcelona 2025 – the world’s largest iGaming event. Formerly known as the Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ), the Sustainable Gambling Zone (SGZ) is a key hub for shaping the future of safer gambling, providing a platform for policy dialogue and industry collaboration. Beyond safer gambling, it embraces a holistic approach to sustainability, integrating pillars such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and other aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.

With a dedicated stage right on the show floor – Pitch ICE & SG, 5P10 (in the central concourse between Hall 3 and Halls 4 and 5), the Sustainable Gambling Zone stands out as one of ICE’s most valued and impactful features. While it remains true to its main mission of consumer protection, this year, it expands its focus to encompass a broader range of ESG topics, further reinforcing its commitment to driving meaningful change in the industry.

Supporting Safer Gambling Initiatives

For the third consecutive year, Betsson joins a growing list of leading operators and suppliers that sponsors the Sustainable Gambling Zone, where all proceeds go to organizations working with safer gambling. Last year, £41,100 were raised to be split between two charities: the International Centre for Responsible Gambling (ICRG) and Betblocker.
