The Wow

As our Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting global and regional compensation programs, with a strong focus on Latin America. This position is perfect for professionals who have solid experience in rewards and are looking for a role that offers international exposure and career growth opportunities. 

You’ll work closely with HR teams, business leaders, and external partners to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, compliant, and aligned with global standards. Occasional travel may be required, but it will not be a regular part of the role. 

 

A taster of what you will be involved with:

  • Support global and LATAM compensation processes, including annual salary, bonus, and equity cycles.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and maintain up-to-date compensation ranges across regions.
  • Analyse compensation and workforce data to generate insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and external compensation providers to ensure accurate and competitive compensation structures.
  • Uphold governance standards, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Confidently challenge proposals or exceptions using data-driven reasoning.
  • Maintain and enhance compensation tools, systems, and data accuracy.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Support benefits administration and vendor management across LATAM and global markets.
  • Contribute to global rewards projects and process improvements to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance to HR and managers on compensation philosophy, job levelling, and pay decisions.

 

What we are looking for:

  • 2-5 years’ of experience in compensation/rewards, ideally with LATAM exposure. 
  • Experience working with Mercer or similar compensation/HR analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal) is a must
  • A confident communicator who can influence and manage stakeholders effectively.

Another Great Opportunity At Betsson Group!  We are looking for a Technical Director for our LATAM Region.  This role will be based in our Argentina Office in Buenos Aires!

The Technical Director LATAM (TD LATAM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our products within the Latin American markets. This position demands extensive technical expertise, profound experience in the gaming industry, and a deep understanding of LATAM market regulations pertaining to online gaming. Collaborating closely with our platform architects and various engineering teams, you will drive the technical improvements required to deliver best-in-class products tailored to the various LATAM markets, in alignment with objectives set by the LATAM Commercial Teams.

In this role, you serve as both a Product and Technical Advisor to the LATAM Commercial Teams, guaranteeing the delivery of optimal value while nurturing trust and confidence. You are also responsible for meticulously reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), including growth, costs, and service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Technical Leadership and support: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the technical team. Ensure alignment with the company’s goals and objectives, foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement,
  • Technical Support: Serve as the main technical liaison for the LATAM Commercial Teams, offering assistance for technical issues and providing ongoing support to resolve incidents. Ensure that the team is equipped with the essential tools to meet their objectives.
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for the LATAM markets, encompassing infrastructure, software development, and technical support.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and optimization of the technical infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our betting platform.
  • Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and oversee the development of new features and enhancements, ensuring they meet market-specific requirements and compliance standards.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about the ever-evolving regulatory landscape in the LATAM betting industry. Ensure that our technical operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provider Management: Manage relationships with third-party providers, ensuring that they deliver on their commitments and provide value to the company.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact the company’s operations in the LATAM region. Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of technical operations in the LATAM markets, including key performance indicators and project milestones.
  • Documentation Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation in collaboration with the different engineering teams. This documentation includes but is not limited to how-to guides, technical specifications, and best practices. Ensuring that information is well-documented is vital to facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing within the organization.

 

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a technical leadership role within the betting or gaming industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in software development or technology-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the LATAM betting markets, including regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technical strategies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Portuguese would be a plus
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients is a plus.

You’re good at..

Right now, we are looking to strengthen further the management of our Container Platform and Kafka Messaging Platform and looking for a DevOps engineer with strong knowledge and experience in Kubernetes administration and managing Kafka infrastructure.  

  • Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters, preferably with experience with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup, administration, and configuration of such service. 
  • Managing Cloud Infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with a good understanding of terraform modules and workflows. 
  • Experience working with cloud providers, with AWS as preference, and strong knowledge with Cloud provider services such as EC2, ALBs, VPC, and EKS 
  • Experience in building scalable and distributed infrastructure
  • Experience in using versioned source control to manage code changes
  • Familiarity with the open-source monitoring stack of Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar
  • Experience in using and managing Linux distributions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of best practices in IT operations, such as ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and DevOps principles.

What We Are Looking For..

We are seeking QA Engineers with expertise in both Frontend and Backend technologies. However, if you have strong knowledge in just one area, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C# as well as Javascript and Typescript.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
  • Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Puppeteer, as well as frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
  • Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
  • Working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
  • Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

 

Bonus Points For..

  • Exposure to working in an event-based microservice and micro-frontend architecture.
  • Implementing quality gates in CI/CD tools like Github Actions or TeamCity.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
