The Wow
We are seeking a talented, motivated and experienced DevSecOps Engineer in our Stockholm office with a strong focus on the implementation of security practices and services within our Cloud Platforms Engineering team, with experience working in an AWS environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of software and services, as well as the implementation of robust security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
A taster of what you will be involved with:
- Implement and maintain secure infrastructure on the cloud: Design, deploy, and manage secure AWS environments, leveraging various AWS services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Lambda, and Edge Security services. Audit and monitor security groups, network access control lists (ACLs), and other security features to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement proactive security monitoring and alerting mechanisms, leveraging AWS services like AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Control Tower,, Amazon GuardDuty, and Amazon Inspector. Work closely with our Information Security team to identify and respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations.
- Vulnerability and Patch Management: Coordinate vulnerability scanning and patch management processes to mitigate security risks. Coordinate with external security vendors for penetration testing, security audits and the remediation of findings with operation teams.
- Security Incident response: Assist the Information Security team in managing security incidents, including containment, investigation, and recovery.
- Security architecture and design: Work closely with architects, central security team, and development teams to integrate security controls into the overall system architecture within AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure. Review and provide guidance on secure design principles, secure coding practices, and secure deployment strategies.
- You will be expected to form part of a 24/7 on call roster to support the engineering team during out of office incidents calls

You’re good at
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, technical degree beneficial.

- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE
Previous experience as a backend developer and relevant experience with some of the core technical skills mentioned below. You are a collaborative person who readily offers help and shares knowledge with your colleagues.
- C#, .NET, NET Core
- SQL Server and NoSQL databases
- Unit testing frameworks
- Messaging within a micro service architecture
- Agile development
And/or to have experience working with kafka, a modern front-end framework (e.g. Angular), Docker containerization, Domain driven design.

A taster of what you will be involved with
- Be the go-to Quality Engineer for our Original Games
- Test manually and proactively enforce the highest quality standards
- Build, maintain, and improve our automated testing frameworks using the latest tools and best practices, aligned with our architectural principles.
- Identify gaps in test coverage across front-end and back-end and take action to fix them.
- Embed a Quality-Built-In mindset by collaborating with engineers and suggesting improvements.
- Contribute directly to our codebase, implementing changes that increase robustness and reduce time-to-market.
- Work closely with CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and tooling enhancements.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of QA experience across front-end and back-end systems.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, and code coverage best practices.
- Comfortable working with C#/.NET environments as well as modern front-end technologies based with Javascript.
- Passionate about quality and delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Analytical, self-driven, and solutions-oriented.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH
- Develop a deep knowledge of our product to identify weaknesses and enhance the effectiveness of our testing, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Be an integral part of a Scrum team to add value to our product.
- Together with the members of the Scrum team, design and develop automated tests using industry-standard tools to ensure reliability and increased confidence in product updates.
- Play an active role in the ongoing requirement definition and growth of our product.
- Promote a quality mindset through coaching and close collaboration with the team.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using latest technologies and best practices focusing on maintainability and reusability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues to provide detailed and actionable feedback.
- Improve the Software Delivery process to enable the team to deliver high-quality Increments faster, aiming for Continuous Deployment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with at least one Object-Oriented Programming language, preferably C# as well as Javascript and Typescript.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with testing these APIs.
- Proficiency in using test automation libraries like Playwright and Cypress, as well as frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
- Experience with non-functional testing using tools like K6 or JMeter.
- Working in Agile teams with a shift-left mentality in testing.
- Good understanding of software testing processes and techniques.
