At Betsson Group, we take immense pride in our dedication to fostering a workplace that celebrates diversity, embraces inclusion, and nurtures a sense of belonging. Our newly published Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) Statement reaffirms our commitment to creating a workplace where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.

Securing Second Place in the All-Index® Report

This commitment is not just rhetoric – our actions speak volumes. In 2023’s All-Index® survey by the All-In Diversity Project, Betsson Group secured the second-place position. This annual benchmarking survey evaluates Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging practices within the betting and gaming industry globally. Our strong position reflects our dedication to transparency and continuous improvement, setting us on a path to be a leader in promoting diversity and inclusion in our industry.

 

Cultivating DIVERSITY at Every Level

Our approach to diversity is ingrained in our practices. We actively monitor and review diversity data related to hiring and internal promotions, conduct industry benchmarking, and invest in unconscious bias training to ensure a fair and inclusive recruitment process. Visual representation, showcasing our diverse talent internally and externally, as well as focusing on achieving gender balance within Betsson Group. We also organise an annual conference in Malta that discusses diversity and inclusion in our industry. Furthermore, we actively participate in events such as the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards and participate in various conferences with a diverse representation of talented Betssonites. This year, we are proud to be part of the Women’s Day Conference titled ‘Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment’ by the FIDEM Foundation in Malta.

Integral to our commitment is the measurement of progress. Our annual employee survey gauges various aspects, including a sense of belonging, willingness to recommend Betsson Group as an employer, and pride in working for the company. According to the latest survey,

85% are proud to work at Betsson Group and believe in our company’s vision and values.

93% stated that their direct manager makes them feel an equal part of the team.

91% feel comfortable expressing their ideas.

82% stated that Betsson provides equal opportunities to all employees regardless of their background.

 

This feedback loop informs our continuous efforts to enhance and champion inclusion at every level of our organisation.
