Key Responsibilities: 

  • Analyse, diagnose, identify and solve issues related to application availability in the production environment with minimal number of escalations, including but not limited to examining logs on Linux, Windows, Web Servers, DB Servers etc.;
  • Performing analyses on application functionality and suggesting improvements;
  • Integrate and configure monitoring systems for production and dev environment, including performance monitoring and synthetic monitoring;
  • Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services;
  • Collaborate with Development and Infrastructure teams during incidents and for reliability improvements;
  • Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and contribute to postmortem documentation;
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices and processes;
  • Administering and managing JIRA tickets.

Requirements: 

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (DevOps / SRE / System Admin with production responsibilities);
  • Server virtualisation such as VMware, IaaS and PaaS cloud such as AWS and Azure;
  • Monitoring and alerting tools: Prometheus, PRTG, Datadog;
  • Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python;
  • PostgreSQL databases via running select statements to assess impact and diagnose problems;
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (traceroute, tcpdump, wireshark, etc.);
  • Good knowledge of Web Server types and working principles (Apache, Nginx, IIS);
  • Experience with message brokers and caching systems (RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch);
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions);
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation;
  • Very good writing and verbal communication skills in English and Georgian;
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent certification would be a plus.
